University Donations

2011-Present: We’ve held semi-annual golf tournaments in my late father’s name to raise money for the University of Nebraska’s gymnastics scholarships, and facility renovations. My dad was a national champion gymnast and local engineer who earned his master’s from NU.

To date, we’ve raised over $400k for student athletes since 2011.

Natural Disaster Fundraising

2013: While studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I worked at a British newspaper. My boss and I spearheaded a sudden effort to raise money for flash flood victims in La Plata—a rural region in Argentina hit by significant flooding. I wrote about the devastation in our email newsletter, and helped raise funds. (my first experience fundraising)
